I’ve been there.
Years ago, as a new mum facing enormous challenges, I was in survival mode. I kept going because I had to, but it felt like I was just treading water. I was trying to stay afloat while everything felt uncertain and overwhelming.
It wasn’t until I recognised that I had found what I now call my tipping point—the moment I realised that just doing wasn’t enough, that I needed to change how I was thinking and what I was focusing on—that everything shifted.
When I reflected on that some years later, I was inspired to help others who may also be stuck and created my model:
Unconscious grit + Tipping point = Conscious Grit
Conscious grit is about more than just working hard. It’s about working smart—with clarity, courage, and a sense of purpose.
It’s about knowing:
